A green dot appears next to your photo and name, showing you are currently active on NexProLink.

Status Hidden

No indicator appears. Others cannot tell if you are online or offline.

No status shown (private mode)

How to Change Your Status

Go to Settings

Tap your profile icon in top navigation → Settings

Find "Online Status"

In Settings, locate the Online Status toggle

Toggle On or Off

ON = others can see when you're active. OFF = your activity stays private. Changes apply instantly.

Common Questions

If I hide my status, can I still see others?

Yes. Hiding your status only affects what others see about you. You can still see who is online.

Does hiding status affect notifications?

No. You still receive all notifications (messages, bookings, comments) regardless of your status setting.

Will hiding status hurt my consulting business?

Possibly. Clients prefer visibly active consultants. Some providers hide status for privacy but respond quickly to messages.

How does NexProLink determine "online"?

You are considered online when the app or website is open and active. Status automatically turns off after 5 minutes of inactivity.
